How to Become A Judge
Requirements
- 18 Year of Age or older
- Retired from competition
- Resident of the United States
- Accomplished Baton Twirling Athlete
Step 1
Complete and verify a combined period of 36 hours of clerking and judges experiences.
Step 2
- Complete and return the Judges Application form, including the following:
- Letter of reference from your sponsor who must be a registered judge in good standing.
- Personal resume including brief remarks reflecting your readiness and experiences of why you are ready to become a registered NBTA Judge.
- List the names and addresses of three character references
Step 3
- NBTA mentor will be assigned and communicate with prospective judge regarding:
- NBTA Judges written Test
- Scheduling an interview to review your application form, and assessing your twirling knowledge and offer technical assistance as necessary
